A Message from Kris Allen About Berklee City Music
Hey Fans,
Music Education is something I’ve had a passion about for many years. I know that if I hadn’t had access to great music programs in school, I wouldn’t be where I am today. However, now with all the budget cutbacks, school music education programs are often the first thing to go, so each year fewer kids have access to music education.
That is why I’ve partnered with the Music Empowers Foundation. Together we’re trying to reverse the trends and work to bring music education to more kids. By creating awareness for the cause and raising funds to support great programs like: Berklee City Music Network, Little Kids Rock, DonorsChoose.org and Blackbird Academy of Arts, we already have helped to bring music education to tens of thousands of children who didn’t have it.
You can help Music Empowers and me continue this good work and do even more by making a donation to Music Empowers Foundation. Together all of us can make a difference in the lives of so many children.
Thanks for your support and generosity,
